SUMMARY:Germany’s EU Council Presidency: Informal Meeting of Justice and Home Affairs Ministers on 7 July 2020
DESCRIPTION:\n\nDear colleagues\,\n\nThe informal meeting of justice and home affairs ministers will take place on 6 and 7 July 2020 as part of Germany’s EU Council Presidency.\n\nThe options for reporting on the informal meeting of home affairs ministers on 7 July 2020 are stated below. The Federal Ministry of Justice and Consumer Protection (BMJV) will provide information separately about the informal meeting of justice ministers on 6 July 2020. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic\, the informal meeting will take place online.\n\n\n\n\n\nThe informal meeting of home affairs ministers on 7 July 2020 will offer the following programme items for reporting:\n\n\n\n8.30\n\nDoorstep\,\n\nStatement by Federal Minister of the Interior Horst Seehofer with time for a few brief questions\n\nNote: The doorstep will be offered in the form of a video conference and as a photo opportunity. Please refer to the organisational information below regarding participation. Permanent accreditations issued by the Press and Information Office of the Federal Government will not be valid.\n\nJournalists wishing to participate in an event must register online at http://www.akkreditierung.bundesregierung.de: https://www.akkreditierung.bundesregierung.de/onlineakkredi/ by 12.00 on 3 July 2020.\n\nWe do not currently intend to offer on-site accreditation or accreditation after the deadline.\n\nNotes on the registration process:\n\n- Please enter your user name and password. If you do not yet have a BPA accreditation profile\, you must register for a new account.
