Dear colleagues,

The conference "Working together to fight antisemitism in Europe" will take place on 10 September 2020 as part of Germany’s Presidency of the Council of the European Union.

Preventing and fighting antisemitism is a task which cuts across different departments, ministries, government levels and policy areas at both the national and the European level. This online-conference is intended to inspire ideas for pursuing a holistic approach to this task, with the further intention of addressing it on the European Level. The online-conference will be opened by Dr Markus Kerber, State Secretary at the Federal Ministry of the Interior, Building and Community.

Federal Chancellor Dr Angela Merkel will welcome participants with a video message. Additional speakers are Margaritis Schinas, European Commission Vice-President for Promoting our European Way of Life, and Dr Franziska Giffey, Federal Minister for Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth.
