Security

The Federal Ministry of the Interior is responsible for security, for protecting the public against violence, terrorism and crime, and for protecting our Constitution, so that the fundamental values inscribed there continue to be a living reality in our society. To carry out this task, the Ministry receives assistance from the Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution (BfV), the Federal Criminal Police Office (BKA) and the Federal Police (BPOL).
